Saint-Joseph launched its own television channel, C'Saint-Jo TV, with Anyware Video
Introduction
Located in the far south of La Réunion, Saint-Joseph is the southernmost city of the French departments and the territory of the European Union. Bordered by the sparkling waters of the Indian Ocean to the south, this commune offers breathtaking landscapes. Since 2010, the city of Saint-Joseph has developed its own channel, Saint-Jo TV, on the web and social media, allowing the region to be showcased.
Today, the challenge is quite different. Patrick Lebreton, the mayor of the city, has decided to launch the channel C’Saint jo TV on the screens of the inhabitants of Réunion.

C’Saint-Jo TV is the communal television channel of Saint-Joseph in La Réunion! Accessible on ZEOP channel 10, on its Facebook page, and on YouTube. It features all the information about the Municipality, as well as news about the city and its inhabitants. Topics such as associations, major projects, cultural and sporting events are offered to citizens. www.saintjo.tv
The opening of a channel also involves setting up a programming schedule with shows aimed at retaining viewers, such as:
- “Vous moun d’où“: A portrait of an artist, athlete, craftsman, farmer, etc.
“Un jour au marché“: Every Friday morning, Thierry visits the market to shop and highlight the vendors and local products.
“Néna d’moun?“: The C’Saint-Jo TV team visits a resident in their kitchen who shares their traditional “péï” recipe.
“Saint-Joséphois du monde“: A video interview with a Saint-Joséphois expatriate around the globe.
“La Play List“: Broadcasting of music videos by local artists who mostly don’t have the opportunity to be aired on mainstream local channels.
“Zarboutan“: A series of portraits of the elderly sharing their life memories from “dann tan lontan.”
“Zot i rappel ça“: Broadcasting archives with suitable presentation, allowing the younger generation of the commune to see the evolution of the territory from 2010 to 2020.
“C’ Chaud“: The latest news.
“L’actu de la Semaine“: Recap of the topics from C’ Chaud and the past week’s news.
“Ô Coeur de Saint-Jo“: A series of discovery shows (trails, pools, and guest tables, etc.) presented by Clément Suzanne (tour guide of the wild south) and Pauline Hoarau.
“Interlude“: Images of Saint-Joseph and the Wild South with a musical background.
“Infos Pratiques“: Information section for residents on services and weekend contacts for SAAFE/Firefighters, Police, etc.
“Through this television channel, there is a whole buzz to create, increase visibility.” declared Patrick Lebreton, Mayor of Saint-Joseph.
Challenge
C’Saint-Jo TV needed an efficient solution to broadcast high-quality video content, enabling the sharing of local information, community events, and municipal announcements in a more attractive and accessible manner. Between November and December, more than 130 events took place in Saint-Joseph.
Through this challenge, the objectives of this television channel are as follows:
Increase the visibility of the city at the regional level.
Promote the richness of our territory by showcasing the city’s dynamic associative fabric and a busy events calendar.
Highlight the skills and values of the residents of Saint-Joseph by introducing artists and local culture.
“Make our territory, its inhabitants, their skills, and values better known. We were the first municipality to launch our Web TV in 2010. The launch of our TV channel is a continuation of our commitment to always innovate and surprise. Moreover, we have a ten-year database that allows us to have content for broadcasting.” said Dominique Leperlier, Director of Communications.
